Teaching Kofi To Make Navy Friends

We can assume that at some point Kofi Annan will want to have his picture taken aboard the U.S.S. Abraham Lincoln. What someone should do is tell him to go up to the first African-American sailor he sees and say "Bravo Zulu". Then, if he gets a good response to repeat this new phrase to every sailor he sees. He could soon be the center of a delighted crowd!
And no need to worry about his New York Limosine Liberal Friends being upset! Given the needs of multiculturalism and the wisdom of Simon & Garfunkel ("A man sees what he wants to see and disregards the rest") they'll probably assume it's a local custom along the lines of "Bravo, Zulu Warrior! You are a credit to your tribe!"
He'll still be a trained monkey, but he will be our trained monkey!
