I went to the sailboat show yesterday. It's obvious to me that the sport of sailboat racing needs a lot of additional adult supervision! So I have started a campaign to straighten out the handicap rules for sailboat racing (either adopt IRC and/or fix PHRF). Civilian readers need know nothing about the subject except this, Every competitor thinks he's George Steinbrenner! If you think running a professional sport (NFL, MLB, NBA etc) is hard, just try running the rules committee for the owner's private sport. The commissioners of those professional sports are wusses by comparision with what we have to handle!
